Hello, my name is Hannah Potts. I am from Charlotte, NC, however, originally from Clarksville, GA. I have one sister, Meredith. My dad, Steven and my mom, Annette. She is married to Mike, which means I have a step-dad, and step-siblings. I have two step-brothers, Michael and Steven, and one step-sister, Jennifer. I’m glad I have them, but they are all older so it makes it hard to relate sometimes. I have a dog, Daisy. I like to be outside and to be active. I play the guitar and love all kinds of music. I am a Bulldogs fan, a Braves fan, and a Zac Brown Band fan. I grew up spending at least 3 weeks at the beach, so I'm definitely a beach kid. I prefer the summer over the winter, and a good rain storm is never bad. I belonged to communities ranging from the church I belonged to, which is the Catholic church, my school, a club soccer team, and my group of neighborhood friends. I mostly identify with my neighborhood community. I spent a lot of time with these friends, they were the people that were in and out of my home, who knew the very most about me and I knew about them. We did everything together. There were 8 of us and we all had a role to play.
From this class I am expecting to learn a more mature way of writing, a more dynamic way of writing, and a more creative way to express my thoughts. I hope to learn and become more comfortable with public speaking and sharing my ideas. I want to learn a more elegant way of speaking and I would like to have more fluidity in my thoughts.
